PublicLens publishes resident-sourced information. Here is exactly how far it should be trusted.

Where the information comes from
PublicLens gathers reports from residents on the ground, news monitoring, public online databases, social media and other open platforms. We do not operate our own field crews or official inspection teams. Every entry reflects what someone has told us, not an independent verification by a municipal authority.
Not an official municipal record
PublicLens is an independent civic platform. Nothing on the scoreboard, a report page or a tender listing constitutes an official statement by a municipality, province or national government.
Demo and illustrative data
This build runs on generated demonstration data so every role and screen can be tested. Report volumes, area scores, fix rates and tender records are illustrative and do not describe real incidents or real procurement.
How to read area scores
An area score blends the share of reports fixed (50%), how quickly they were fixed (30%) and how small the open backlog is (20%). It reflects only what was reported through this platform, so areas with more active reporters can look busier than quieter ones.
User-submitted content
Photos, descriptions and comments are supplied by residents and news monitoring. We remove content that is abusive or clearly false when it is flagged, but we cannot verify every submission before it appears.
No emergency service
Do not use PublicLens to report emergencies. For burst mains, exposed live cables, gas leaks, fire or anything threatening life or property, contact your local emergency number directly.
